New to the Club?

1. To be eligible for membership at Travis Aero Club, you must be either:

  • Active Duty & Retired Military
  • Active Duty & Retired Reservists
  • Active Duty & Retired DOD & NAF
  • Dependents of the Above
  • Civil Air Patrol Members
  • Base Contract Employees
  • Civilians (Must join Civil Air Patrol National Patron Squadron)

2. Pay one time initiation fee ($25 military/$50 civilian).

3.  Complete the required membership documents and provide us with:

  • Birth Certificate or Passport
  • Valid State/Federal ID
  • Pilot Certificates (if applicable)
  • Current Medical (if applicable)

Find an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME)

  1. I actually took lessons years and years ago on a Cessna and a Diamond out in the Reno area. Flying is truly one of the most freeing experiences of my life! I’d love to get more information about joining and possibly getting back into flying again. Love that you guys off lessons for kids also!! Starting them young is truly amazing!! Thank for keeping your heads in the clouds!

  2. I was looking at possibly earning my private pilots license. I did a discovery flight out at the nut tree back in early 2015. I was hoping to sit down with someone or talk over the phone about options. I am retired a retired AF C-5 crew chief. Look foreward to hearing from you!!
