Standardization Tests:

These are the required Annual Standardization Tests for the Travis Aero Club. All members must take Standardization Test “A” and the Local Supplement Test. The Standardization Test consists of 35 questions. The Local Supplement Test consists of 15 questions. The Local Supplement Test must start on number 36 on your answer sheet. The Standardization Test will reference the Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge (FAA-H-8083-25), the FAR/AIM, AFMAN 34-232, Aviation Weather (ASA-AC00-6A), and the Travis Aero Club Standard Operating Procedures (Local Supplement Only). All these reference materials are available on this web page. These tests must be graded by a flight instructor before you fly.  Passing score is 80%. If you score below an 80, you must take retake the Standardization Test and Local Supplement again.

The Annual Instrument Standardization Test consists of 50 questions and the passing score is 80%. The test refers to the AFMAN34-232, the FAR/AIM, the Instrument Flying Handbook (FAA-H-8083-15), Aviation Weather (ASA-AC00-6A), and Aviation Weather Services (AC 00-45E). If you score below an 80%, you must take the Retake Annual Instrument Standardization Test.

The Annual Instructor Standardization Test consists of 27 questions and the passing score is 80%. The test refers to the AFMAN34-232, the FAR/AIM, Aviation Instructor’s Handbook (FAA-H-8083-9A), Aeronautical Decision Making (AC 60-22), and the Airplane Flying Handbook (FAA-H-8083-3). If you score below an 80%, you must retake the Annual Instructor Standardization Test.
